NEWS UPDATE:
On Wednesday 29th September 2010 Harlequin held a Ground Breaking ceremony at The Merricks Resort in Barbados. Dave Ames and Pat Cash turned over the earth at the site together in a symbolic act to signify the start of the build of phase 1 of the resort. The ceremony was attended by several prominent business people from Barbados, representatives from tour operators including Carrier, Tui, Virgin, the Caribbean Tourism Organisation and Barbados Tourist Association and many of the local people who live close to the site, as well as several investors in Harlequin's properties who had flown in from Buccament Bay Resort for the occasion. |
